This course also provides knowledge concerning materials, device calculation and energy.

Code:HOH504                           INORGANIC SYNTHESIS

Methods for inorganic synthesis can be considered under various perspectives. Beside the classic viewpoint which divide processes into acid-base reactions and oxidation-reduction reactions, other viewpoints studies synthesis process following phase states, kinetics of reaction, temperatures and pressures, reaction conditions… The richness and complexity of synthesis process as well as the sophistication in controlling reaction condition make these viewpoints become really important. This course presents the problematics of Inorganic Synthesis in this diversity, and more specially focuses on recent methods.

Code: HOH505                           INORGANIC MATERIALS

This course is the essential part of Inorganic & Applied Chemistry formation program. Its content includes 3 main parts:

• Part A provides students with knowledge about bonding characteristics, structure and properties at crystal state and melting state of inorganic materials

• Part B presents fundamental knowledge about physical-chemical process for modification and synthesis of materials, factors affecting the composition, structure and properties of materials…

• Part C mentions chemical and physical properties of some inorganic materials: cementing materials, glass, ceramics. The couse also presents electrical, magnetic materials.

Code: HOH506                           ADVANCED PRACTICAL INORGANIC CHEMISTRY 1
